Little-known tips to fully experience USJ in one day
How to fully experience all the rides, the food, the check-in spots, the shows, and the parade in USJ in just one day? After visiting USJ for some time, I picked up some tips to save time and experience more in USJ.
Read part 1 here to know the tips I used for preparation before going to USJ (the prediction of the number of visitors, how to save money for tickets, etc.)
To know the tips as well as the tickets that can help save time for queuing in USJ, please read part 2 !
1. Buying snacks while queuing
There are so many eye-catching and delicious snacks in USJ (popcorn, pies, skewed meat, etc.). Therefore, snacks are one of the must-try when going to USJ. Moreover, buying and having snacks while queuing with friends makes the waiting time less boring, and turns it into an unforgettable memory.

2. Do not bring outside food into USJ
Though bringing outside food into USJ can help us save some money, it is strictly prohibited.
At the ticket gate, we will also have to open our bags for the staff to check (not only for food but also for dangerous or explosive items). Therefore, you should pay some attention to this to stay out of trouble.
When coming to USJ for the first time, I did not know this, so I brought some onigiri with me and had to, as much as I did not want to, throw them away before entering the park. Therefore, you should experience the restaurants in USJ instead of bringing food with you.
There are many good restaurants are selling both Japanese and European food at different prices to suit our budget. I like European food the most in USJ, especially Pizza and Steak.

3. Remember to bring your power bank
This seems obvious since USJ is a perfect place to play and take photos, but I guess many people (including me) would totally forget about it and go without preparation.
When coming to USJ for the first time, my phone went out of battery from the afternoon and I could not take any more shots, so it was quite a pity. However, if you forget to charge your phone, there are also charging counters for rent in USJ (I did not know this the first time I came to USJ) for 300 yen/ 30 minutes (about 60,000VND).

4. You can leave USJ and come back (within the same day)
If we need to buy something or have some health issues, we can leave USJ and come back (within the same day). However, before leaving, we have to inform the staff that we would leave and come back later, then they would stamp a sign (watermark) on our hands.
Without the stamp, after leaving, we would not be able to come back, so don't forget. When I came to USJ on a rainy day, I tried this when I did not bring a raincoat, so I had to leave to buy one.
5. Asking for USJ stickers as a keepsake
USJ distributes many adorable stickers (friends, family, birthday, etc.) to stick on our hands, shirts, or bags, etc., when going out. They even have stickers that change daily or according to seasons.
These seem like a little "specialty" of USJ, so don't miss out on these cute stickers. You can ask any staff you meet in USJ for stickers.

6. Enjoying the shows and the parade.
During the day, in USJ, there are many funny and beautiful spectacular shows and parades. When attending the show or parade, we can meet many familiar characters in movies and stories, and enjoy the eye-catching performance or interact with the characters.
Therefore, don't forget to check the time for shows and parades before going on the USJ app not to miss these out!

7. Paying attention to the time for shows and parades
Come to the show and parade places a little bit earlier than the starting time to get a good spot and avoid crowds.

8. Practicing magic in the Harry Potter World
One of my favorite places in USJ is the Harry Potter World. One notable thing in the Harry Potter World is that we can easily practice "magic" with familiar spells in the series, such as spells for opening doors, creating snow, or freezing objects. etc. What a "magical" place!
You will feel like you are living the Harry Potter series and have become a powerful wizard. I am confident that this will be a wonderful experience whether you like Harry Potter or not! However, we need wands to cast spells, and we can buy those from the Ollivanders shop in the Harry Potter World!

9. After leaving USJ
Outside USJ, there is a beautiful long road with plenty of dining, shopping, and souvenir places to explore after USJ closes.

This area opens from the morning to 2-3 hours after USJ closes, so we can have dinner and buy some souvenirs here to bring back home after a long and fun day.
Many people coming to USJ like to go to the souvenir and merchandise shops (products with images of characters) to buy in advance, partly because the souvenir shops are located at the entrance, partly because these shops are cute and the souvenirs are also very eye-catching.
I often buy merchandise or souvenirs after USJ closes (on the outside street) to have more time to have fun. However, this is a personal preference, so feel free to do whatever you like.
