If you're a big fan of trying new dishes and going to new restaurants to expand your knowledge of food around your area, then this is a great recommendation for you!

Ramen is originally from China, and so the flavor of the ramen that you have tried while being in Tokyo is completely different from the one that is typically made in China. So thanks to this shop located in Jimbocho, you'll be able to have a little taste of this in Tokyo!

With Winter coming into our lives and making sure to leave us trembling, a hot bowl of ramen is the exact thing that we need! Mazilu, located about 3 mins by foot from the Jimbocho station, has a very rich history behind it and a convenient system to order when you get to it.

Mazilu is a shop that has been around for more than 100 years and has now started to open up shops here in Japan

They not only serve ramen, but also offer little side dishes like gyoza and pickled egg which makes it 100% worth it! Its refreshing yet warm taste is something that you can't miss out on.

With the size of the bowls that they'll be serving you in this restaurant, I recommend you go when you’re extremely hungry so you're able to enjoy this ramen to the max. In their website, you are able to check the prices of the plates and their contact information.

Though there's something very important to consider. If you do plan on visiting the restaurant, you better do it early, because the shop will close once all the broth is sold out - despite what their site says their schedule is. This, in my opinion, just makes the experience of eating this ramen more authentic. Right at the entrance of the store, you'll be able to order and choose how you want your bowl.

After you've done this, you will go into the shop and take a seat while you wait for your plate to be ready - which won't be long! When you look around once you take a seat, you might notice that the shop isn't as big as you might've imagined it from the outside. Which is one of the reasons why it's recommendable for you to come to visit this restaurant early - so that you don't have to wait for too long in line to get a delicious bowl of this ramen!

Despite the not-so-big space that the restaurant is located in, I argue that this only gives more to the authenticity and feeling to the environment - not to mention its warm and cozy on the inside!

One of the things that really impressed me as well while visiting this restaurant was how quickly the food had come out of the kitchen. Which is only good if you're going on an empty stomach!

You won't have to wait too long to be able to try this unique delicacy that includes a glass of tea on the house — there's a reason why it's so popular! Most of the time when you go to the restaurant you'll see that there are a lot of people wanting to go in to eat, so it's best you hurry to get your seat!

The various spices that are used in the beef broth make the flavors of the meat and noodles jump up and combine really well. Not only to mention that the use of said spices give it an almost medicinal feel to the dish, making it even more perfect to consume during the winter when flu season is up!

Don't miss out on the opportunity of trying this style of ramen. I can assure you you won't be able to find it anywhere else - unless of course, you travel to China to visit the store.
