Mesmerize yourself with the beauty of the canola fields in Tahara
The Irago Nanohana Garden Park - Tahara is the most beautiful canola park in Aichi - where the seemingly ordinary and simple canola flowers form a brilliant yellow carpet that attracts a lot of tourists every spring
Access
To come here, you can catch the Toyotetsu bus from Mikawa Tahara Station on the Toyohashi Line and get off at the Irago Misaki bus stop. I chose to go by bike. It was tiring but fun, too!
The park opens from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM (it closes one hour later on holidays)

Irago Nanohana Garden Park
You must be familiar with the canola that we often eat, right? But have you ever seen a vast and beautiful canola flower garden that looks like it comes from a fairy tale?
I once immersed myself in that fairy garden at Irago Nanohana Garden Park. In February, when the weather was still chilly, the canola flowers, with their thin bodies, green leaves, and brilliant yellow flowers were stretching out as if they want to trigger the vitality of New Year's Day.

I came here in February when the flowers bloomed most beautifully. The whole field was covered with the bright yellow color of canola flowers in their prime, creating a landscape painting full of vitality.
It reminded me of my childhood. When I was young, my grandmother also had a small canola garden behind her house. At that time, I just wished Grandma would not pick the canola before it bloomed so that I could see these wonderful tiny flowers! When I was 7 years old, I saw a field of yellow canola flowers in the movie Mr. Bean's Holiday.
I remember watching it repeatedly just because there was a scene of a large and brilliant flower field. I wished I could go to a place like that, and now Japan has made that little wish come true!

Moreover, around the garden, there were also rows of cherry blossom trees, and fortunately, the canola flower season is also the cherry blossom season. The cherry blossoms also contributed to enhancing the beauty of spring in the canola flowers field by their lovely pink color.

Idyllic, simple, but no less romantic, Irago Nanohana Garden Park never disappoints visitors because of its "hot" level every New Year.
Visitors come here in large numbers, especially couples who come here to take wedding photos. I have met and talked with people from far away who come here to enjoy the beauty of nature. They were all like me, completely immersed in the lively atmosphere and the gentle beauty of spring.

Upon coming here, people can take beautiful photos to their heart's content with friends and relatives by some decorating "items" such as mailboxes, wooden chairs, swings, etc.
I'm sure you will have a great experience when coming here in the canola flower season! I hope to receive your check-in photos at this fairy garden!
